Another Document Approved! First Swine Flu Case in Hong Kong

Our DS-230 documents are approved for Sarah's visa from the U.S. Consulate in Guangzhou.

The first swine flu case has been confirmed in Hong Kong. We hear that all of the people on the plane are quarantined in a hotel for a week. China is requesting that adoptive families stay home.

Best thing about Spring is New Clothes

Hi everyone. It's spring time in China. We're waiting to get travel approval (TA). We are so ready to travel. We're hoping to get our TA the first or second week of May. Once we receive it, it'll be another 2 weeks before we can actually travel. Our adoption agency needs time to make arrangements for us.

U.S. Immigration Step Completed

Our I-800 is approved!! This document tells us we can adopt Xin Yu. Now we wait for the U.S. Consulate in Guangzhou and the CCAA in Beijing to approve a couple more documents.
