Ice Cream Social

We went to the Burwell House Festival in Minnetonka with Uncle Bill, Aunt Tami, Aunt Cheri, and Grandma Linda. Jenna had fun blowing bubbles and making a spin art picture. Sarah enjoyed looking at the bubbles, but had trouble blowing her own. The best part was eating ice cream. Jenna got a chocolate cone, Tim got a vanilla cone, and Margaret got a dish of strawberry. Sarah got a dish of vanilla, but enjoyed sampling all three flavors. Everyone enjoyed listening to band music while we ate our ice cream.

After the festival, we drove to Uncle Bill and Aunt Tami’s house. Sarah was very excited to meet their 2 cats. She followed them all over the house and kept saying, “Meow, Meow”. Needless to say, Lily and Phoebe were not as excited to meet Sarah. We feasted on grilled chicken, pasta salad, corn on the cob, and angel food cake with strawberries and whipped cream. YUM! After supper, Jenna and Sarah amused us. We sang some kid’s songs. Sarah was very quick to catch on to the main lyrics. She enjoys being goofy and making people laugh.
