We Receive the LOA from China
Yahoo, we finally receive our Letter of Acceptance – LOA!! We’ve waited 136 days for it instead of the average wait time of 90 days. But it is here, what a relief.

Billing Issues?
Our adoption agency asks their representative in Beijing to inquire about our LOA. It appears there’s a billing issue that’s been holding it up. We wonder how long it’s been sitting on someone’s desk.

We've decided on a Name!!
Drum roll please . . . . . The name we've chosen for our daughter is Sarah Joy Xinyu Piepkorn.
